An established Architecture and Engineering firm in the Alpharetta area is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its team. This role focuses on electrical design for a variety of building projects, including K-12 schools, retail, mixed-use developments, and other commercial facilities, working alongside architects and engineers from multiple disciplines.

Schedule: Full-time, with occasional project-related travel as needed.

Compensation: $95,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience.

What You'll Do:

The Electrical Engineer designs building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems, and performs electrical load calculations, equipment selection, and building code research. This includes preparing electrical drawings, specifications, and construction bid documents.

The role coordinates with architects, engineers, and other project team members to meet project requirements and deadlines, managing design responsibilities across multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably involving building systems
• Experience with electrical power, lighting, and fire alarm design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

• Revit experience
