Here at Walnut Creek Veterinary Hospital, we’re all about caring for pets and making every day a little different and exciting. We’re proud to be AAHA-accredited because we hold ourselves to a high standard when it comes to caring for animals. We get to do some pretty unique procedures you don’t find at most clinics, so you’re always picking up something new and stretching your skills.

We use great equipment and genuinely support each other every step of the way. We’re excited to add rehab services soon, which means even more chances to help our patients and grow as a team. Whether you’re just starting out or have years under your belt, you’ll find a place here where you can build your career and feel good about the work you do—for pets and their people.

Our crew is a fun bunch, with all sorts of interests—some love barrel racing, others are into gardening, reading, or even cosplay! That mix keeps things lively, and it means everyone brings something different to the team. We’re always ready to lend a hand, pitch in where it’s needed, and keep things running smoothly together.

We also like to have fun together outside the clinic—whether it’s birthday parties, community events, or just hanging out after work. Our team works hard, learns together, and honestly enjoys being around each other. Springtown is a place where it’s easy to settle in. The community is friendly and close-knit—people wave hello, neighbors know each other, and there are lots of local traditions that make you feel at home. The schools are welcoming, and there’s always something happening, from festivals to Friday night football. And if you ever want a taste of the city, Fort Worth is just a short drive away—so you can enjoy the best of both worlds, with peaceful small-town living and big-city fun close by.

• This Externship is paid at $15 per hour

• Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
