Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Clearance Required Patrol in ARLINGTON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will support access control, alarm response, clear communication, and exceptional customer service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Pay Rate: $26.27 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and contractor entry requirements in accordance with site policies.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
