Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2300 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is required.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Equipment includes an EKG machine, DynaMaps, a bladder scanner, a vein finder, and telemetry. Heart catheterizations are performed on the unit.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month.

Floating Requirements: Floats to all Med-Surg/Telemetry floors.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
