Full job description
Join a skilled nursing team in Medford, OR as a Registered Nurse (RN). This opportunity is ideal for a dependable clinician who is comfortable providing resident-centered care, supporting daily nursing operations, and leading care staff in a skilled nursing environment.
Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and supervise nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and regulatory guidelines.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately.
- Monitor residents’ health conditions, document changes, and promptly communicate concerns to physicians and families.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, therapists, and staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Supervise, mentor, and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Participate in care plan meetings, assessments, and evaluations.
- Uphold resident rights, privacy, and dignity in all aspects of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon in good standing.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor care staff effectively.
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation preferred.
