Certified Pharmacy Tech - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced pharmacy technician to act as a Lead Technician for a contract job where your expertise will directly support pharmacists in delivering exceptional care. In this position, you'll play a vital part in ensuring patients receive the medications they need—by assembling, stocking, and distributing them with precision and care. Minimum Requirements:

• Must have State License to Apply
• Prior Pharmacy Experience
• PTCB Preferred
• Current Arkansas technician license
• Completion of 2 days of hospital orientation is required
• Site-specific HR credentials required prior to start: HIPAA, CPS Code of Conduct, background check, drug screen, primary source license verification, and completed Arkansas Adult Maltreatment and Child Maltreatment Registry forms

Assignment Details:

• Monday – Friday 0800-1600
• No weekend coverage needed
• Temporary Lead Technician role in an 80-bed hospital with adolescent and adult behavioral health specialty areas
• Responsibilities include filling medication orders, delivering medications to med rooms, managing and stocking inventory, receiving daily warehouse orders and reconciling invoices, reviewing and processing recalls, assisting in med room audits, and supporting the pharmacist
• Order entry system: HCS; training available
• Site automation: Omnicell installation underway; experience is welcomed and training is available
• Training will be provided in pharmacy after hospital orientation
