Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2040 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials: High school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or associate’s degree/technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required. Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; covers HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; must be completed within one year of start and updated every 3 years; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score demonstrating competency in the area of specialization; 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: Performs advanced respiratory care modalities. Responds to emergency resuscitation team codes.
