Summary:

Join Carroll Hospital's CCU Department team as a Patient Care Tech! As a CNA on our CCU, you will be a valued clinician on the patient's care team! This position is essential in providing high-quality, patient-centered care under the direction of licensed nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist nurses by gathering patient data through observation, obtaining vital signs, and performing point-of-care testing.
  • Perform routine patient care procedures safely and competently.
  • Ensure timely communication and documentation, including reporting significant patient changes to nursing staff.
  • Provide frequent rounding and fall prevention interventions; remain with high-risk patients when needed.
  • Support patient flow through timely admissions, transfers, and discharges, including documentation and removal of IV locks.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to support a positive and efficient care environment.

Qualifications:

Current Maryland CNA License

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience:
* Less than one year

Pay Range: $20.00 to $27.29 Based On Experience
