About the Role:

  • PolarisRX, a leading pharmaceutical company, is launching a groundbreaking new product this fall. Join our team as a Cold Chain Technician and be part of an exciting, innovative project. This is a great opportunity to gain pharmaceutical cold storage experience and elevate your warehouse career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • *Receive, stock, and maneuver cold and dry storage materials
  • *Operate manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and powered forklifts (approx. 10% of duties; under 6 hours/week)
  • *Move cold storage pallets in and out of arctic blast freezers (-20°C to -30°C)
  • *Replenish internal freezers with 100–150 units/day (each unit 20–25 lbs.)
  • *Pack pharmaceutical shipments for transport (including FedEx coordination)
  • *Organize completed shipments on pallets
  • *Follow all cold chain handling, temperature monitoring, and inventory procedures
  • *Adhere to break, lunch, attendance, and PPE policies
  • *Communicate promptly with supervisors and Bluecrew regarding attendance
  • *Uphold strict confidentiality — may be required to sign an NDA

Requirements:

  • *Warehouse experience required (cold storage experience a plus; training provided)
  • *Valid forklift certification and experience (sit-down or stand-up)
  • *Must operate manual and electric pallet jacks
  • *Able to lift up to 80 lbs unassisted
  • *Must complete a 9-panel drug screen within 24 hours of being scheduled (THC is not tested)
  • *Must have a professional photo on Bluecrew profile
  • *Must include relevant work experience in Bluecrew profile
  • *Phone screen & interview required prior to selection
  • *Reliable transportation and reasonable commute required
  • *Available Monday–Friday; weekend work possible
  • *Willing to work in cold storage environments for short periods
  • *Perfect attendance required during initial training; missing training days may result in removal from assignment

Attendance, Safety & Conduct Expectations:

  • *Must clock in/out for shifts and lunches per site procedure
  • *Strict lunch timing: lunch break after 3.5 to 4 hours, no later than 5 hours into shift
  • *No early return from lunch to avoid attendance points
  • *Follow all site and Bluecrew safety protocols
  • *No photos, filming, or social media posts related to PolarisRX
  • *No horseplay or unsafe behavior
  • *Communicate promptly if sick, late, or unable to work
  • *Attendance violations may result in removal from assignment

Shift Details:

  • *Full-time (40 hrs/week) seasonal assignment
  • *Split shifts: morning–afternoon & afternoon–evening (9 hours/day with 1-hour lunch)
  • *Training begins August 2026 — perfect attendance required for first two weeks

Forklift

When working in a Forklift Position through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:

  • Independently operate a seated, stand-up, or cherry picker-type lift, depending on the position based on best safety practices and supervisor direction.
  • Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner
  • Loading and unloading inventory in a safe and responsible manner
  • Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
  • Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment
  • There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants. Some jobs may require safety (steel-toed) boots
  • If you have your certification, please be sure to bring it with you

It is important to Bluecrew that you go home in the same healthy state that you came to work in, so please do not accept this assignment if you cannot fulfill all of the above duties.
