Medical and Pediatrics (MAP) Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- 3010 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

• Certificate completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Aspirus.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Preferred Credentials: Associate degree preferred.

Unit Details: Medical and Pediatrics unit; travelers do not take pediatric patients. Adult patient population includes respiratory illnesses, stroke, other neurological conditions (such as seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis, chronic back pain), gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, other infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal. Typical patient ratios on days 1:4-5 and on nights 1:6-7.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday. No on-call.

Floating Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed. Specialty Floats: ICU, MS/Tele, Intermediate Care

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
