As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full-time in a public school, providing individualized and small-group tutoring in core subjects, supporting classroom instruction, and facilitating interventions that build students’ academic skills and social-emotional growth. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll form positive relationships with students, track progress, communicate with teachers and families, and help lead after-school programs.
