Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: 1+ year with cardiac cases.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Interventional Radiology experience is preferred.

Required Credentials: If you have RCIS, state license is not required.

Unit Details: Patient population includes STEMI, NSTEMI, CAD, PAD, PVD, CHF, heart blocks, and cancer. Cases include cardiac, peripheral vascular, Interventional Radiology, and pacemaker insertions. Responsibilities include controlling the C-arm during cases, assisting MDs during procedures while scrubbing, and helping with patient preparation within scope of practice. Uses Merge for EMR and hemodynamic monitoring, and Philips X-ray machines.

Shift & Scheduling: Day shift includes call. Call hours are usually M-F from 17:30 until 7:00, Sat and Sun 24hs. Usually 1 night call shift per week. Usually 1 weekend call per 4 week period. Holiday call is distributed equally among all staff. Call response time: 30 minutes.
