Full job description
Animal Medical Clinic is a well-established, progressive, fast paced 5 doctor companion animal and limited exotics practice located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including Preventative Care, Surgery, Urgent Care, High Speed Dentistry, Cold Laser Therapy, In-House Diagnostics, Digital full body and dental radiology, Ultrasonography, Medical and/or Vacation Boarding and more.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
As a Kennel Technician, you'll play an important role in providing compassionate care for our hospitalized and boarding patients. You'll help ensure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while supporting our veterinary team with daily hospital operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide daily care, feeding, walking, bathing, and medicating of hospitalized and boarding pets.
- Monitor and document appetite, behavior, medications, and any changes in a patient's condition.
- Clean and disinfect kennels, treatment areas, and hospital equipment.
- Wash laundry and restock hospital supplies.
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary assistants with animal restraint, exams, and post-operative patient care.
- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented veterinary setting.
We are looking for someone with:
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.
- Ability to safely handle and restrain dogs and cats of all sizes.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting, standing, walking, and handling large dogs, pet food, and supplies.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and disinfecting practices or willingness to learn.
- Compassionate, patient, and calm when caring for sick, injured, or anxious animals.
- Ability to learn how to administer medications and recognize changes in an animal's condition.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
