Full job description

Our client, a leader in commercial property management, is seeking a Facility Maintenance Worker to join their team. As a Facility Maintenance Worker, you will be part of the Facilities Department supporting building operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facility Maintenance Worker

Location: Las Cruces, NM

Pay Range: 18.00 to 25.00

Shift: 6am to 3pm

What's the Job?

  • Perform maintenance, repair, remodeling, and general construction of commercial buildings and property components.
  • Load, transport, unload, and organize building materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Install, repair, and maintain cabinets, countertops, doors, windows, and flooring.
  • Perform roof repairs, painting, plastering, and other surface refinishing tasks.
  • Manage multiple maintenance requests efficiently while maintaining safety standards.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in building maintenance, construction, or remodeling.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Knowledge of building maintenance and construction practices, including carpentry, painting, drywall, and roofing.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
