Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic government location where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. This is an armed post requiring an armed guard card or license. Guided by teamwork, integrity, reliability, and innovation, you will play an important role in putting people first every day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to supervisors and/or appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, public areas, transit-related spaces, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas for authorized access, policy compliance, and other security-related matters, while maintaining professional communication with the public.
- Prepare clear and timely activity logs, incident reports, and related documentation, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
