We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to join our team and drive quality assurance initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in test strategy development, E2E test automation, and scale testing. They will lead a team responsible for ensuring the resilience and stability of our distributed systems. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of our products and services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Be hands-on in Test Automation development for a new product.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy, covering E2E automation and scale testing.
- Execute and oversee scale testing scenarios, utilizing device simulators and traffic generators.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of our systems through effective regression testing.
- Apply chaos engineering principles to test distributed systems' resilience, including node failure and control plane partition scenarios.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate and automate testing processes.
- Analyze and report on test results, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA and testing methodologies.
- Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- At least 5+ years of experience in QA management and leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in test strategy development and E2E automation.
- Hands on Test Automation development is a MUST
- Experience with a variety of Test Automation frameworks is a MUST
- Experience with cloud and Kubernetes environments is a MUST
- Strong knowledge of scale testing techniques and tools.
- Experience with chaos engineering and distributed systems resilience testing.
- Proficiency in using device simulators and traffic generators for scale testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
- Familiarity with Nokia Quality processes is an advantage.
- Ability to lead and inspire a high-performing QA team.
