Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1800 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Utah license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge experience preferred.

Unit Details: Mixed medical-surgical unit. Procedures include Foley insertion and central line dressing changes. Equipment includes a bladder scanner, Welch Allyn vital signs monitor, and vein finder.

Shift & Scheduling: On-call twice per contract. Weekend requirements: 4 weekend shifts per schedule (every other week). For night shifts, weekends are Friday and Saturday nights.

Floating Requirements: Floats to all medical-surgical units in house.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
