  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize knowledge base of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Respond to life threatening situation with appropriate interventions.
  • Practice in a Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Invasive Radiology environment through the application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, included but not limited to cardiac pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Organize patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience on cardiac floor or Critical Care Unit (ED, ICU)
  • Current Oklahoma Registered Nursing license
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certified

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five (5) years' experience on cardiac floor or Critical Care Unit (ED, ICU)
