Job Description:
In this role, you will oversee teams of 2 to 20 individuals with customer accounts ranging from 10M to 250M+ while managing Project Executives, Project Managers and Project Teams to build top talent and achieve highest customer satisfaction.
Some things you can expect to do:
Ensure team members understand what is expected of them and hold them accountable for performance, provide regular feedback and have development conversations, delegate appropriate tasks and provide timely and meaningful recognition.
Assess and promote professional skill development and training for direct reports
Onboard and mentor direct reports towards best career path through mentorship and coaching
Implement, and hold team accountable to, corporate goals and initiatives
Develop contacts and quickly build relationships with potential clients
Play a key role in relationship building and management of customers
Make effective and convincing formal sales presentations to prospective customers
Effectively negotiates business and legal provisions of construction contracts
Consistently achieve customer satisfaction goals and raving fans
Consistently promote high levels of quality, design and profitability on projects
Manage and coordinate all aspects of the Ryan business model, including development, capital markets, design and engineering, preconstruction, and building services/property management
Promote innovation within Ryan and act as an ambassador to peers in other regions and divisions
Coordinate with market sector leads to balance workload, responsibility, and integration between sector and region talent
Align Regional and Divisional priorities with peers to ensure high levels of execution, accountability and consistency.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 10 years successful industry experience with at least 5 years handling accounts from $10 to $250 million+. A bachelor's degree in an industry-related field is required. You must be able to effectively prioritize and balance big picture & immediate responsibilities; listen effectively and value the opinions of others & acknowledge contributions of others; train, manage, and hold staff accountable to get results consistent with corporate plans; recognize, select, and hire top talent at the appropriate time; and develop talent to all levels within construction operations. You need a solid understanding of the local construction market and ability to effectively negotiate construction contracts to Ryan’s best business and legal interest. You must have a proven ability to manage team successful & profitably and lead & develop people. Resolving issues promptly for a 'win-win' solution is required.
