Job Description

Corporate Strategy Intern

Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

In a world full of questions and possibilities, there’s a lot of power in finding the right answers.

We’re looking for a Corporate Strategy Intern to help support Cox Automotive’s Retail Solutions businesses. You’ll get a real look at owning a high-visibility strategy project to help the business make better decisions about where to play, how to win, and what to do.

If you like solving strategic problems and turning it into an answer leadership can act on, let’s talk.

What You’ll Do

  • Define project scope, objectives, workplan, success measures, and decision points for your project(s).
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis using internal data, market research, strategic frameworks, and financial models.
  • Leverage strategic planning methods to evaluate opportunities, risks, and ability to win.
  • Translate detailed analysis into actionable insights, recommendations, and next steps.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and align on strategies and roadmaps.

What’s In It for You?

  • Hands on experience solving a key strategic question for the company and present recommendations to leadership.
  • The support of a dedicated team and an assigned program mentor who will show you the ropes.
  • A toolkit to help you grow your career: problem framing, hypothesis-driven analysis, financial modeling, executive communication.
  • Exposure across Cox Automotive — product, finance, and business unit leadership — and ability to explore Corporate Strategy as a career interest.
  • The opportunity to meet and network with company leaders and expand your professional network.

Who You Are

You want to do meaningful strategic work that shapes the direction of the organization and are genuinely curious about how the automotive industry and Corporate Strategy works. You are also:

  • Currently enrolled in an upper-level undergraduate or graduate program in business, economics, finance, engineering, statistics or a related field.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools.
  • An analytical thinker and skilled problem-solver.
  • Have excellent interpersonal, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams.
  • Can balance multiple, changing priorities in an organized manner and share progress updates.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Don’t miss out on the first steps toward your future. Apply today!

Drug Testing

To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug-free workplace, so the possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.
