Full job description
Responsibilities
- Support embedded software integration, deployment, and validation activities.
- Investigate software and vehicle-level issues through debugging and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with software engineers, system architects, product teams, and validation teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Perform system-level troubleshooting involving vehicle electronics, sensors, diagnostics, and communication networks.
- Support software configuration management, baselines, and release processes.
- Analyze vehicle communication logs and system interactions using diagnostic tools.
- Validate software functionality across different vehicle configurations and variants.
- Document issues, findings, solutions, and technical recommendations.
- Manage defects and track issue resolution using project management tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in automotive embedded systems, vehicle electronics, software integration, system validation, or ADAS development.
- Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols:
- CAN
- Ethernet
- LIN
- UDS Diagnostics
- Experience with analysis tools such as:
- CANoe
- CANalyzer
- Vehicle Spy
- Wireshark or similar tools
- Experience with software configuration management, release processes, and software baselines.
- Working knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
