Job Summary:

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is the senior commercial leader for AssetWorks Facilities, responsible for developing and executing the company's go-to-market strategy across the AssetWorks Core, WebCheckout, Q Ware, SoftChalk, and future portfolio businesses. This role exists to create alignment between marketing investment, market positioning, pipeline generation, sales execution, and revenue growth — ensuring that every commercial dollar and every seller's effort ladders up to a unified strategy focused on measurable business outcomes.

Job Description:

Serving as the primary integrator between Marketing and Sales, the Vice President ensures both organizations operate from a single commercial playbook — from demand creation through bookings and expansion. This leader is accountable for consolidated revenue performance across the portfolio, for building scalable sales and marketing processes, and for developing a high-performing commercial team that can compete and grow in each product line's respective market.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead commercial strategy across the portfolio — Develop and own the integrated go-to-market strategy for AssetWorks Core, WebCheckout, Q Ware, and SoftChalk, aligning marketing investment and sales focus to the highest-value revenue opportunities in each business line
  • Own consolidated revenue performance — Carry accountability for portfolio-wide bookings, revenue growth, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline coverage, establishing the operating rhythms and governance needed to deliver predictable results
  • Provide strategic leadership to Marketing — Direct positioning, demand generation, product marketing, and brand strategy so that marketing programs produce qualified pipeline and measurable contribution to revenue
  • Build a disciplined sales engine — Establish sales processes, methodologies, and operating cadences that improve seller productivity, win rates, and deal velocity across new-business and back-to-base motions
  • Own commercial systems and analytics — Lead CRM strategy, pipeline governance, revenue reporting, and AI-enabled commercial tooling to give the business clear, data-driven visibility into performance
  • Partner with Product on commercialization — Collaborate with Product leadership on pricing, packaging, positioning, and market-expansion initiatives, ensuring new offerings launch with a clear path to revenue
  • Develop the commercial team — Recruit, coach, and retain marketing leaders, sales managers, account executives, and solution engineers; build individualized development plans that grow capability and bench strength
  • Contribute to company-wide leadership and planning — Participate as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic planning, operational reviews, and cross-functional initiatives that advance the business as a whole

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven ability to lead both Sales and Marketing functions in a multi-product software or SaaS environment
  • Strong command of pipeline generation, forecasting, and revenue operations, with a track record of delivering predictable bookings growth
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-presence skills, effective from end-user to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking paired with disciplined execution — able to translate strategy into operating plans and measurable outcomes
  • Deep understanding of vertical market software, SaaS economics, and recurring-revenue business models
  • Ability to align and prioritize across a multi-product portfolio while maintaining focus on outcomes
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, marketing automation, and data-driven forecasting and analytics

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of commercial leadership experience within software, SaaS, or recurring-revenue businesses
  • Experience leading both Sales and Marketing functions strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience owning a portfolio or multiple product lines with distinct customer segments and go-to-market motions

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Experience within a Volaris or Constellation Software portfolio company environment strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with vertical market software, higher education, or facilities management markets
  • Experience integrating and scaling commercial functions across acquired or tuck-in business units preferred
