Full job description

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial equipment, is seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be part of the Assembly/Testing department supporting the Assembly & Testing team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Technician

Location: Monroe, MI

Pay Range: $37,440 - $45,760

Shift: 3rd- 8:45p-7:15a

What's the Job?

  • Mechanical assembly of equipment utilizing prints, manuals, procedure documents, and other instructions.
  • Use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure precision.
  • Operation of pneumatic, hydraulic, and hand tools for assembly and testing.
  • Hydrostatic testing of equipment following established procedures.
  • Performance testing of equipment on various test loops, including preparation and execution.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of general assembly or mechanical experience.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
