Full job description

As a Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for directly supervising Irving Energy drivers. Your goal will be to successfully manage the daily operations of the fleet in the Lebanon area of the business. Your success will be to promote and enforce all safety initiatives.

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Provide continuous coaching and feedback, administer performance management process and follow progressive discipline procedures 
  • Engage in employee retention and satisfaction initiatives, including wellness programs 
  • Develop and manage drivers’ schedules including vacations, meetings, extra shifts, etc. to ensure all shifts are covered and drivers are executing planned loads 
  • Manage injury and incident reporting; assist with investigation and resolution 
  • Promote personal and environmental safety and achieve established goals and collaborate with Environment, Health & Safety
  • Establish budgets, support key performance indicators, and achieve maximum fleet utilization
  • Support external customers by addressing concerns, promptly resolving issues, and maintaining commitments and internal customers by fostering relationships, collaborating with dispatch and fleet management, and advising management as appropriate 

Your Skills:   

  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Continuous improvement mindset 

Your Experience:   

  • Post-secondary education in business or a related field, or equivalent experience  
  • 5+ years of management experience in the Oil and Gas industry is preferred 

The expected salary range for this position is $75,500-$111,660. Placement within range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills
