Job Description:

Work Schedule: 9pm-7:30am

  • Transports hazardous waste from the point of generation to a designated secure storage area, completing required training for proper handling and transport. 
  • Demonstrates understanding and adherence to the Chemical Hygiene plan and Infection Control policies. Assists with department orientation and trains laboratory staff and students.
  • Mentors new employees and ensures competency documentation is completed.
  • Troubleshoots phlebotomy service concerns and coordinates daily workload assignments.
  • Prioritizes routine specimen receipt in the laboratory on a “first in – first out” basis, with stat and alert specimens prioritized before routine orders.

Education:

  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]


Work Experience:

  • 6 months phlebotomy experience [Required]

Pay Range:

$15.58 - $24.93
