Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arkansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Large hospital experience required.

Special Requests: Start dates are limited to 10/12 or 10/26. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details: Total-care assignment. Patient population includes surgical services (colorectal, hepatobiliary, bariatric, general, and orthopedic) and medical conditions including diabetes, heart disease, COPD, kidney, and gastrointestinal conditions. There is no telemetry assignment; remote telemetry monitoring is available, with only occasional strip reading. Respiratory therapy is readily available to assist, and nasal-cannula oxygen is used on the floors. The unit is transitioning to Epic in 11/2026.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holiday coverage is not required. No call.

Floating Requirements: This is a float pool between Med/Onc, two surgical units, and two medical units, with floating to any Med/Surg pod. The clinician is first to float. Assignments are made based on unit needs.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
