Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - IVs - NGs - PICC & Central Line Care - Catheter Care - Post-op surgical care for general surgery patients - Post-op surgical care for total knee & hip replacement, hernia repair, and colectomy patients

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Foleys - IV insertion - Tele - Tube feeding - Stroke - Post-op care

Preferred Credentials: - BSN preferred

Unit Details: - Med/Surg Tele unit - Patient ratios: 5:1 & 6:1; day shift has a lot of admissions & discharges - Equipment and patient care context: Baxter IV pumps; Omnicell; JP Drains; Hemovac Drains; Ostomy Care; NG Tubes; Tube Feeding; PEG Tubes - Patient population: age 18 to geriatric - Common diagnosis/treatment: Total Joint Replacement; General Surgery Population; COPD; Diabetes; Dementia; Dialysis; Stroke; NSTEMI; CHF; A-Fib - Fast-paced environment

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend

Floating Requirements: - Float to step down to care for med/surg if needed

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
