Job Description

In this role, you will oversee warehouse associates, drive operational excellence, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally to support customer and business needs. Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including order processing, inventory management, receiving, storage, and fulfillment operations.
  • Ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment while meeting service, quality, and productivity objectives.
  • Monitor workflow and operational performance to maintain efficient warehouse operations.
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement effective solutions to minimize disruptions.

Inventory Management & Systems

  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Utilize and optimize Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionality to support inventory transactions and order processing.
  • Ensure inventory control processes are consistently followed and maintained.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates to achieve operational, safety, and quality goals.
  • Provide training, performance feedback, and ongoing development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment that promotes employee engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Support workforce planning and daily staffing needs to meet operational requirements.

Continuous Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Sales, Customer Service, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), using data to drive operational improvements and decision-making.
  • Support initiatives that improve service levels, inventory accuracy, and overall warehouse performance.

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety throughout warehouse operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain adherence to warehouse safety standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or inventory management environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience leading, supervising, or coordinating the work of team members.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, fulfillment processes, and supply chain fundamentals.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop employees in a team-based environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform warehouse-related activities for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Experience working with inventory optimization, warehouse metrics, and process improvement programs.
