Job Description
We currently have an opportunity available for a Per Diem Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist to join our Pediatric Orthotics and Prosthetics team. This position is responsible for fabricating a variety of orthoses for inpatients and outpatients as prescribed by the medical staff, measuring and fitting patients for appropriate orthoses, and serving as a resource to staff regarding assigned areas of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate specific orthoses and prostheses for inpatients and outpatients utilizing a variety of technical skills and knowledge
Provide appropriate direct patient care in a clinical setting under direction of the Orthotics/Prosthetics Manager and within established procedures
Performs a variety of administrative and operational support functions for department and according to patient needs
Expectations regarding policies and procedures of department, hospital and professional interaction
Required Responsibilities:
1 year Orthotist, certified
1 year Prosthetics
American Board for Certification and Prosthetics
Board for Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification (BOC)
The pay range for this position is $48.70 - 73.05/hour.
