Loving San Jose family looking for an after-school caregiver for their two boys!

Brought to you by Family Concierge: This warm, easygoing family is looking for a reliable and engaging caregiver for their two boys, aged 6 and 4. They're hoping to find someone who will feel like a natural extension of their family and enjoy building a long-term relationship with them. The primary schedule is Monday-Friday from 5:00–7:00pm PT, with the possibility of additional morning hours from 7:00–9:00am. They can offer some flexibility on hours and start date! Responsibilities will mainly include school pickup and drop-off, helping the boys transition home, and engaging them in age-appropriate play, reading, or simple activities. Light housekeeping related to the children, such as tidying up or laundry, is appreciated but optional and flexible. Their 6 year old is curious and loves building and puzzles, while their 4 year old is energetic and imaginative and enjoys pretend play and music. As a family, they value kindness, good communication, and a calm, supportive environment that balances routine with fun. The position starts at $25/hour, with flexibility based on experience and qualifications. They're looking for someone with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), prior childcare experience with similar ages, and a reliable, proactive approach to caring for two children independently.
