An administrative assistant / dispatch hybrid role manages office clerical tasks while coordinating real-time schedules and field communication. Responsibilities typically include answering multi-line phone calls, routing service orders or drivers, data entry, billing support, and maintaining active tracking sheets or logistics software.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dispatch & Routing: Coordinate daily schedules and track field personnel, technicians, or delivery drivers using software or GPS tools.
- Communication: Answer incoming client calls, field emergency or service requests, and radio/phone communications with mobile teams.
- Administrative Support: Maintain filing systems, process daily paperwork, manage logs, and draft routine correspondence.
- Data Entry & Billing: Input work orders, update tracking databases, and assist accounting with invoices or driver payroll sheets.
- Customer Service: Resolve client issues, confirm appointments, and provide proactive updates regarding arrival or delivery times.

When working in a Data Entry position through Bluecrew, you may be expected to perform any and all of the following duties:
- Working independently or as a team to operate a computer or other peripheral equipment
- Sitting or standing for the duration of the shift
- Assist with general troubleshooting of computers or other digital applications
- You could be working in an office environment, or in a warehouse environment
- There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, we recommend going in business casual for your first day until you have had a chance to establish the company preference with your supervisor
