Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Mandatory competencies with phlebotomy and IV placement. - Required skills: interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions, and Amiodarone drip management.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Special Requests: - All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. - References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population with acute respiratory failure, CHF, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, and sepsis. - Ratios: Day/Eve ratios are 5 to 1 (stretch 6-7). Night ratios are expected to be 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8 -10 if staff calls in). - PCTs on all units do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and activities of daily living. - Uses BIPAP, CPAP, High Flow, Ventilators, trach, and chest tubes.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - No on-call requirement. - RTO: no more than 1 week per contract.
Floating Requirements: - Will float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units; will not practice outside of scope.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 10
