Lead Data Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with strong experience in delivering enterprise-scale cloud data and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), technical project leadership, and end-to-end delivery of modern data platforms while leading cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of enterprise data engineering and cloud data platform initiatives.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across data ingestion, transformation, storage, analytics, and reporting.
• Drive end-to-end project execution from planning through deployment and production support.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Data Governance, and Business teams.
• Ensure adherence to Agile, SDLC, DevOps, and DataOps best practices.
• Monitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership and stakeholder communication throughout project execution.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Technology Delivery, Program Management, or Technical Project Leadership.
• 5+ years of experience delivering cloud-based Data & Analytics solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven experience leading large-scale data platform implementations.
• Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, cloud technologies, and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, SDLC, DevOps, and DataOps practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
