Full job description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and optimize data solutions using Azure Databricks.
- Build and support enterprise data applications, integrations, and pipelines.
- Design and review technical/data-flow solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, and data scientists on data products.
- Perform code reviews, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Optimize complex data solutions and provide technical guidance.
- Maintain technical documentation for downstream integrations.
- Identify opportunities to improve data platforms, processes, and technologies.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum and Sprint activities.
Required Skills
- 5–10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, or Data Warehousing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
- Strong knowledge of the Azure ecosystem.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python or Scala.
- Practical experience with data modeling and data-driven KPIs.
- Experience with ETL/ERP technologies such as Informatica, IICS, Cognos, Netezza, or similar.
- Experience with Azure Synapse, Power BI, Azure ML, or similar analytics platforms.
- Experience with data integration, data pipelines, testing, deployment, and production support.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
