Full job description
Join a high-impact Qualification Testing team focused on validating next-generation battery electric (BEV) and internal combustion (ICE) powertrain systems. In this role, you will identify, analyze, and isolate software and system issues across propulsion control systems, ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-quality vehicle software. You will work in a fast-paced engineering environment, collaborating across teams to validate cutting-edge vehicle technologies using both virtual and real-world testing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute Design Verification Plans (DVPs) aligned with engineering and regulatory requirements
- Develop and validate test strategies across vehicle and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments
- Perform propulsion ECU and subsystem validation for both BEV and ICE architectures
- Analyze technical standards and documentation to support test development and execution
- Conduct root cause analysis and issue pre-analysis to identify software and system defects
- Identify edge cases and failure scenarios to ensure robust system validation
- Execute validation testing using HIL systems, simulation tools, and in-vehicle testing
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support debugging, issue resolution, and continuous improvement
- Provide technical expertise, guidance, and knowledge sharing across engineering teams
