Our projects are complex, fast-moving, and capital-intensive—and that means our accounting function has to be rock-solid. We’re hiring a Staff Accountant to own the financial accuracy behind large-scale electrical construction projects, support job-cost integrity, and partner closely with operations and leadership as the business grows.
What You’ll Do
• Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze Work-In-Progress (WIP) schedules using percentage-of-completion accounting
• Maintain and reconcile job cost accounting across labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Partner with Project Managers on cost forecasts, margin tracking, and change orders
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and financial statements
• Support audits, tax filings, bonding requests, and lender reporting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and construction accounting standards
What You Bring
• 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• ERP experience preferred; CPA or CPA-track a plus
