We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and hands-on Federal QC/Superintendent for our Construction division. This role requires a professional who is well-versed in the construction industry, particularly in handling federal projects, mission-critical assignments, and SCIFs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of construction projects, ensuring that the projects are completed within budget and on time while adhering to quality standards and federal regulations. This is a permanent role that provides an opportunity to work on exciting and diverse projects, with a chance to impact the construction industry positively.
***MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE***
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, manage construction activities, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Implement and manage all aspects of Quality Control (QC) systems and procedures to ensure project compliance with federal regulations and standards.
3. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and federal representatives, to ensure seamless communication and successful project completion.
4. Manage and supervise construction teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
5. Conduct regular site inspections to verify that work is progressing as planned and meets the required quality standards.
6. Develop and maintain project schedules, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
7. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
8. Prepare and submit regular progress reports, including updates on construction status, budget, schedule, and quality control.
9. Address any client concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related experience
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role in the construction industry, with a focus on federal projects, mission-critical assignments, and SCIFs.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
4. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
5. Strong understanding of federal construction regulations and quality control procedures.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve project goals.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various project stakeholders.
8. Proficient in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
9. Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
10. Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as required.
11. Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance
