Experience:

• 24 months of experience.

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

Required Skills/Experience: Ability to care for chest tubes.

Preferred Skills/Experience: TAVR experience preferred.

Unit Details: Post-catheterization patients; manage sheaths and TR bands. Serves as overflow for 3E and includes a medical population requiring telemetry monitoring. Titrates all drips except pressors, paralytics, and TPA. CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow on the floor; RNs place patients on and off, and respiratory therapy sets the rates. Centralized telemetry monitoring; RNs read strips once per shift and with rhythm changes.

Shift & Scheduling: Self-scheduling, but subject to change to present a balanced schedule. 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period. 2 summer and 3 winter holidays. No call.

Floating Requirements: May be pulled to the floors.
