Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Candidates must have pediatric, NICU, and adult ER and critical care experience.

Unit Details: The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care by prescription of the physician, including diagnostic evaluation, management, education, rehabilitation, and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system. Diagnostic evaluation includes obtaining and analyzing physiological specimens, interpreting physiologic data, and performing tests and studies of the cardiopulmonary system. The practice includes applying technology and treatment protocols across all care sites, including applying and monitoring medical gases and environmental control systems, mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, bronchopulmonary hygiene, pharmacological agents related to respiratory care procedures, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and hemodynamic cardiovascular support.
