Full job description
The RN Supervisor manages nursing/ATC's activities for multiple departments, provides clinical expertise in the nursing process, and coordinates care across all staffing levels.
National Nursing Certification within 3 years - Varies; Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), Education: Bachelor's Degree: Nursing (Required), Work Experience: Nursing
Manages daily nursing activities and workflow of Patient Care Department(s) in conjunction with orthopedic/sports medicine adminstrative team. Coordinates activities of Patient Care Support staff in collaboration with ATC Coordinator Recommends and initiates various personnel actions including but not limited to hiring, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and promotions; Assists in development and review of department policies, procedures, standing orders, and competencies. Manages scheduling practices in all areas Serves as Administrative approval for employee timecards Participates in supervisor rotation for daily safety call for departments, completes event reporting follow up review Monitors work ques Schedules orientation and coordination of training new/existing staff Serves in the role of Orthopaedic Program Coordinator in collaboration with the Joint Accreditation Program Coordinator.
