The Occupational Therapist, Hand Therapy evaluates and treats patients with hand and upper extremity conditions in an acute and/or outpatient hospital setting. This role completes comprehensive assessments, develops functional, goal-oriented treatment plans, provides patient and family education, and documents care in accordance with standards and ICD-10 guidelines. The therapist collaborates with the care team, meets productivity expectations, supports quality improvement, and may guide rehab support staff while following hospital and departmental policies.
