Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Custodial Supervisor to overseedaily cleaning operations and lead a team of custodial staff. The idealcandidate will ensure that facilities are clean, safe, sanitary, andmaintained according to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of custodial staff.
• Assign cleaning duties and monitor staff performance.
• Inspect assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and company policies.
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
• Address cleaning issues and respond to requests from management.
• Ensure staff follow all health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Maintain accurate attendance and staffing records as required.
• Assist with custodial duties when needed to maintain facility standards.
• Report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous custodial, housekeeping, janitorial, or facilities experience required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to train, motivate, and manage a team.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, or holidays when required.
