  • High patient volume
  • Labor and delivery -- direct care in inpatient setting
  • Collaborates closely with OB/GYN physicians
  • C-section assistance and newborn delivery required
  • Manages low-to-moderate risk labor and postpartum recovery
  • Assignment of 6 months or more -- potential to extend
