Job Description​

Saint Luke's South Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our comprehensive laboratory operations under the direction of the Laboratory Manager.

  • M-F 0600-1430 (flexible and can vary upon staffing needs)  May be required to work night shift or weekend shift to maintain minimum staffing levels. 

  • Oversees daily operations. 

  • Establishes and monitors key metrics for accurate and timely work of staff.

  • Makes operational decisions to facilitate optimal workflow and patient care services. 

  • Serve as subject matter expert for clinical laboratory analysis and instrument operation.

  • Hires, trains and supervises staff. 

  • Manages scheduling and timekeeping for staff.

  • Evaluates staff performance. 

  • Maintains strong technical skills for area of oversight.

  • Associate's degree required

  • Phlebotomy certification is required within 6 months. 

  • 2-4 years of experience preferred
