Job Description
Job Summary
Shriners Hospitals for Children is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. This role contributes to the accurate diagnosis and treatment of our pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff in a fast-paced setting
Maintain a high standard of safety, compliance, and patient satisfaction
Responsible for a correctively positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced
Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury
Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work related events
Maintains on going- plan for personal growth and self-development
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Associate in Radiologic Technology
Certificate Radiologic Technology
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
5 years experience in pediatric/orthopedic radiology
