Fabrication Support

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Fabrication Support Associate to join their team. As a Fabrication Support Associate, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align well with the organization.

Job Title: Fabrication Support Associate

Location: Alexandria, MN

Pay Range: $20+/hour

Shift: A Shift: M-W, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Thurs, 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM
-OR-
B Shift: M-W, 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Thurs, 6:30 PM to 12:30 AM

What's the Job?

• Exhibit active leadership to model and support the company’s vision, culture, and strategies
• Ensure safety is always the top priority by promoting and supporting a safe work environment and safety programs
• Set up and operate equipment efficiently to maximize output while meeting quality standards
• Rotate strenuous or repetitive tasks every 4 hours to prevent injury and fatigue
• Accurately fulfill customer orders by reviewing manufacturing orders, verifying specifications, and packaging products accordingly

What's Needed?

• Basic computer skills and ability to recognize safety concerns
• Ability to utilize inspection equipment and detect minor defects
• Strong motivation, self-starting attitude, and good communication skills
• Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints and inspect parts
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and participate in continuous improvement efforts
