Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2620 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Charge experience required. IV starts required. Foley insert/management.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Level I trauma experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adult patient population with general neurological and neuromuscular disorders, including MS, ALS, GBS, stroke, epilepsy, infections, and tumors. Procedures and equipment include LPs, lumbar drains, G-tubes, tracheostomies, and bladder ultrasound.

Shift & Scheduling: BJC policy: Every other weekend required. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. No call. RTO: No more than 7 days.

Floating Requirements: Float within service line to neurosurgery or SDU.
