As the Director of Nursing, you'll lead the Skilled Nursing Health Center at one of Northern California's premier nonprofit Life Plan Communities. You'll partner with an experienced leadership team to shape clinical excellence, mentor and develop nursing leaders, and ensure residents receive compassionate, person-centered care every day.

Salary: $135k - $175k (DOE), plus performance-based incentives

What You'll Do
As Director of Nursing, you'll oversee all clinical operations for the Skilled Nursing Health Center, ensuring exceptional resident care while supporting and developing a talented nursing team.
You'll:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for nursing services, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care
- Lead, coach, and develop nursing managers and clinical staff through hiring, mentoring, performance management, and professional development
- Partner with physicians, therapists, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while driving continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor clinical outcomes, staffing, and resident acuity to maintain safe, effective care delivery
- Serve as a trusted resource for residents, families, and team members, fostering strong communication and collaboration
- Oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges while ensuring smooth transitions across the continuum of care
What You Bring
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's preferred)
- Current CPR certification
- 3-5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, preferably in Skilled Nursing or post-acute care
- Demonstrated success leading, developing, and retaining nursing teams
- Strong knowledge of skilled nursing regulations and clinical best practices
- Experience using electronic health records and clinical documentation systems
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
