Job Description:
The Bar Porter is responsible for the area relative to supplies, equipment and the removal of empty or soiled articles. Creates a high standard of cleanliness to bar, according to established policies, so guests enjoy a safe and memorable experience.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Works towards providing guests with a safe and memorable experience.
- Pushes, pulls, stocks and unloads carts and liquor cabinets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1- 2 years of high volume beverage service experience in a night club.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Must possess knowledge of different brand beverage items.
- Must undergo TIPS training on an ongoing basis.
- Must possess good time management skills
- Must be able to work without close supervision.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and other team members
- Must have an open availability and ability to work a flexible schedule
- Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole
- Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
Work Environment:
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the back of house of the casino, which can be faced-paced with excessive noise. Also, there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
