Facility: Med/Surg | Location: Wilmington, NC, Full-Time | Work Schedule: 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program, required.
  • Experience: One year of relevant experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Appropriate state LPN license, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. CPI certification within 3 months of hire for Behavioral Health departments, required.
  • Additional Skills Required: Computer skills, Phone call etiquette, Organizational Skills. Ability to comprehend policies and procedures and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop individualized plans of care, and monitor patient progress.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions while assessing and responding to changes in patient condition.
  • Prioritize care and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced acute care environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and support positive patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge plans.
  • Promote a safe environment while following evidence-based practices, hospital policies, and patient safety standards.
